Sven's first outing. He's a conservative; however, so he was not amused.
A muddy mess.
St. Patty's Day Parade--Wren's first bagpipes.
One of the better, nicer drawings. Some of the graffiti was sad to see.
We had to leave our snake with the police who checked us in.
Watching the protesters from a reasonable distance.
Wren liked the singing.
Wren wanted to sing, too.
Leaving Walker a little present.
No matter if you're a union supporter or staunch Republican, no matter what or whom you believe, no matter what side you are on, one thing is certain. That building stunk. And I mean bad. No, it didn't smell like dirty hippie, pot or even Ian's pizza. It smelled exactly like the rental room at Alpine.
It wasn't too crazy on Sunday, but we met people who walked to Madison from Milwaukee. They started Friday morning (no wonder the place smelled so bad). There was singing, chanting, marching. It was a small group, but it was emotional and awe-inspiring. I can't imagine what Saturday was like, and I'm sorry to have missed it, but the little we did see was pretty amazing. I'm glad Wren got to experience it.
